At Mountainside Medical Center, we offer comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with end-stage renal disease, or kidney failure. Our Outpatient Dialysis Center pairs state-of-the-art technology with comfortable and convenient amenities to ensure you receive the compassionate care you deserve. We are proud to offer a wide range of services designed to treat and support patients with kidney failure, including staff-assisted hemodialysis, home dialysis care, and nutrition counseling.
Our Dialysis Treatments and Services
Our multidisciplinary team of dialysis specialists includes specially-trained registered nurses (RNs), patient care technicians (PCTs), nephrology specialists, social workers, dieticians, our chief biomedical technical expert, equipment technicians, and administrative assistants. All patient assignments are made in compliance with state guidelines – a patient care ratio of three patients per caregiver. We also have at least one RN on duty for every six to nine patients being treated and all patient care technicians work under the supervision of RNs. Together, we will work to ensure that your treatments are safe, comfortable, and effective.
Our team provides personalized dialysis care for adults ages 18 and over, including geriatric patients. Our treatments and services include:

Our Dialysis Center Hours and Location
Our Outpatient Dialysis Center is open Monday – Saturday from 5am to 10pm, serving four shifts of patients each day. We are located on the ground floor of Mountainside Medical Center, adjacent to the Main Lobby. Our entrance is handicapped-accessible and we offer hassle-free parking, patient drop-offs/pick-ups.
We offer 30 dialysis stations equipped with state-of-the-art technology in a comfortable setting that includes amenities such as WiFi access and TVs. Our facility also features a private, handicapped-accessible entrance and a convenient ground-floor location.
